We are twenty trillion dollars in debt. We have hit the debt ceiling and the federal government is taking what is called “extraordinary measures” to keep us solvent until Congress either balances the budget at current levels or raises the ceiling again.

Our volunteers are truly amazing.

Earlier this year the Convention of States team in Indiana was able to change a state legislator's vote from NO to YES, all because of their inspiring testimony in a committee hearing.

Indiana went on to become the 6th state to pass the Convention of States resolution through both chambers of their state legislature.

How Do the State Legislatures Call a Convention of States?
Answer: Thirty-four state legislatures must pass a resolution called an “application” calling for a Convention of States. The applications must request a Convention of the States for the same subject matter. The applications are delivered to Congress.
