🇺🇸 Honoring 9/11 — Never Forget 🇺🇸
Yesterday, members and there families of the Central Piedmont Fire Department joined firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, and civilians from across the area to participate in the 25th Anniversary 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb.

Alongside our brothers and sisters numerous other departments and members of the community, the members carried the names and memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

It was a special reminder of the families and loved ones who continue to carry the memories and legacy of those who served.

This climb is more than a physical challenge. Every step is a reminder of the 343 firefighters and 60 law enforcement officers who never made it home, and of the thousands of lives forever changed that day.
We climb to remember. We climb to honor. We climb to never forget.
🇺🇸 25 years later, their sacrifice still matters.
Never Forget.

Today, Central Piedmont Fire Department had the opportunity to welcome Sam Page for a visit.

During his time with us, we were able to show him around our department and discuss several of the challenges and issues currently facing the fire service, both locally and across North Carolina.

We would like to thank everyone for there patience and understanding during and after this past storm on Friday night. The power company has worked hard in getting power back on and our community is slowly returning to normal. Thank you to everyone for stepping up and helping others out.
