CV-TEC Celebrates Future Workforce at Dual SkillsUSA Signing Day Events
The CV-TEC Division of Champlain Valley Educational Services (CVES) proudly celebrated the achievements of its young professionals during two recent SkillsUSA Signing Day events, recognizing their commitments to careers in the skilled trades, advanced training programs, and post-secondary education pathways.
Hosted at the CV-TEC Mineville and Plattsburgh campuses, these events were part of a nationwide SkillsUSA initiative that highlights the next generation of skilled professionals, and the critical role Career and Technical Education (CTE) plays in strengthening the U.S. workforce. SkillsUSA National Signing Day events across the country celebrate young professionals as they sign letters of intent for employment, apprenticeships, or continued education in technical fields.
These celebrations underscore the importance of CTE in addressing the nation’s skills gap—ensuring students are prepared with the technical, workplace, and leadership skills needed to meet workforce demands.
