‼️‼️Unfortunately, due to the forecasted rain, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our Ice Cream Social Meetup scheduled for Saturday, June 6. ‼️‼️

We know many families were looking forward to getting together, and we're disappointed too. We hope to reschedule this event at a later date and will share details as soon as they become available.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you at one of our upcoming events!

🚲 Have you heard about iCan Bike?

This incredible program helps individuals with disabilities learn to ride a conventional two-wheel bicycle in a supportive, encouraging environment. Through five consecutive days of specialized instruction, adaptive equipment, and individualized support, many participants gain the skills and confidence needed to ride independently.

This summer, STRIDE Adaptive Sports is bringing iCan Bike to Tupper Lake from July 6–10, 2026. The program is open to riders ages 8 and up who meet the participation requirements.

Learning to ride a bike is about so much more than recreation. It can build confidence, independence, inclusion, physical fitness, and self-esteem. For many individuals, it’s a milestone that opens the door to greater freedom and participation in their communities.

If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to help your child or loved one learn to ride a bike, this may be a great fit. We love sharing programs like this that empower individuals with disabilities to reach new goals and experience new levels of independence.

We understand that the vast majority of people with disabilities never have the experience of independently riding a conventional two-wheel bicycle during their lifetime. Research shows that over 80% of people with Autism and 90% of people with Down syndrome never experience this thrill. Defying the...

A huge thank you to The Pines Tap & Table and everyone who joined us for yesterday's Puzzle Party Fundraiser!

What a fun, creative, and unique way to bring people together while supporting the Autism Alliance. We loved seeing teams work together, share some laughs, and enjoy a little friendly competition along the way.

We are so grateful to The Pines Tap & Table for hosting this event and to everyone who participated, donated, and helped make the day a success. Your support allows us to continue providing programs, resources, and opportunities for autistic individuals and their families throughout our community.
