The District No. 3 Fire Department is honored to announce the 2026 ASSISTANT CHIEF MICHAEL L. RATNER COMMUNITY SERVICE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP. This scholarship is possible due to an endowment by Mrs. Gayle Ratner, who chose to remember her husband and our Past Assistant Chief Michael by awarding a graduating senior a $1,000 scholarship to further their education.
