We had an awesome Zone 2 Lions Club Meeting today!
It was wonderful to have Lions from across our area come together for fellowship, sharing ideas, and most importantly, finding ways we can continue making a difference in our communities.

Zone 2 brings together Lions from Brandon, FishHawk, Plant City, Sun City Center/South Shore, Tampa Downtown, Tampa North, and Riverview.

Different clubs and different communities, but ONE mission — WE SERVE! 🦁

Thank you to our Zone Chair, Bridget Zickefoose, and to all of the Lions who joined us. When Lions work together, our impact reaches even further.

The support we receive through events like our Golf Tournament helps the Plant City Lions Club give back through local service projects, community programs, and helping meet needs right here in our community. Every golfer, team, sponsor, and supporter who joins us becomes part of that mission.

🍓👑This could be the beginning of an incredible journey! The Queen’s Scholarship Pageant is an opportunity to build confidence, strengthen leadership and public speaking skills, make new friendships, represent our Plant City community, and compete for scholarship opportunities.

📅 Mandatory Contestant Orientation Dates:
• Sunday, September 20 at 3:30 PM
• Monday, September 21 at 5:30 PM
• Tuesday, September 22 at 5:30 PM

📍 Arthur Boring Civic Center
Florida Strawberry Festival grounds

Contestants are required to attend ONE orientation meeting. Candidates under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The Plant City Lions Club was honored to partner with Plant City Family Care to help provide much needed school supplies to local students and families as they prepare for a new school year.
Seeing our community come together to support our children is what it’s all about. We are grateful to everyone who donated, volunteered, and stopped by to make a difference. Together, we’re helping set our students up for success!
Here’s to a fantastic school year for all of our students!

We were proud to partner with the Riverview Lions Club today to provide free vision screenings for children at the annual Back To School Bash at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds.

Helping students start the school year with healthy vision is an important part of setting them up for success, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to serve our community alongside our fellow Lions.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today’s event a success, and best wishes to all the students for a safe, healthy, and successful school year! 🦁👓📚

As we prepare to begin a new Lions year in August, we’re looking back at our Installation Dinner we had in June.
We look forward to another year of serving our community and living our motto, “We Serve”!

The Plant City Lions Club extends our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Brian West, who passed away yesterday.

Brian was a dedicated leader, a former Lions Club president, and a true example of service and commitment to our community. Through his years of involvement with the Lions Club, Brian supported countless efforts that made a meaningful difference in the lives of others. His passion for helping those in need, strengthening our community, and serving alongside fellow volunteers left a lasting impact.

Brian’s leadership, kindness, and willingness to give his time and talents will be remembered and appreciated by all who had the privilege of working with him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Brian’s family, friends, and all those who were touched by his generosity and service. Plant City has lost a remarkable community servant, and his legacy of giving back will continue to inspire us.
