What an INCREDIBLE sermon at Cottonwood Creek Church today!
We are grateful to see church leaders willing to boldly address the issues facing our nation and the importance of Christians being informed, engaged, and involved in the election process.
Today’s message addressed some of the most consequential issues being debated in America, including:
🔴 Religious Freedom - The importance of protecting our constitutional right to worship, practice our faith, and live according to our convictions.
🔴 The Sanctity of Life - Examining the differences between Republican and Democrat platforms on abortion alongside the biblical teaching of Psalm 139:13.
🔴 Children and Parental Rights - Discussing the parties’ differing approaches to gender-transition policies involving minors and abortion.
🔴 Border Security - Exploring immigration and border policies through the lens of national responsibility and security.
🔴 Political Polarization - Looking at how party-line voting in Congress has increased over the decades, making political platforms and legislative priorities increasingly consequential and the significant movement of the Democrat party platform to the far radical left.
One of the most thought-provoking points from today’s message was this:
It’s not just about WHO you’re voting FOR. It’s also about WHO you’re voting WITH.
That is a powerful reminder that elections are about more than individual personalities. Political parties have platforms, priorities, and legislative agendas that shape the direction of our communities, our state, and our nation.
As Republicans, we appreciate the opportunity for open conversations about these differences and the role faith plays in the lives of voters.
Our faith doesn’t end when we walk out of church on Sunday. It influences how we live, how we serve, and how we approach the responsibilities of citizenship and Christianity.
