Hope's Door New Beginning Center is a nonprofit organization in North Texas specializing in intimate partner and family violence. We offer a full complement of programs to help families move forward to a happier, healthy life. Our programs include 90-day shelter programs,
Individual and group intervention services for parents and children, case management, legal aid, financial and literacy program

s, Battering and Intervention Prevention Programs,transitional housing, a 24-hour hotline, and educational outreach programs that partner with local school districts for pre-teen and teen education and awareness.

We are so honored to be Dallas Area Paralegal Association's 2026 chosen charity. Our shelter recieved over 200 basic needs items from their most recent drive. Healthy dating includes building ways to communicate with your partner. Find ways to build lines of communication, even when tempers flare. We all get stressed, but violence is never the answer.

As we wrap up Back to School Safety, remember to set boundaries and to have a safety plan in place. Safety plans can look different person to person. Build a safety plan with us. Email [email protected] to set up a workshop for your student group, parents, or employee group!

Thank you to the amazing ladies at Dallas Service Forum for providing dinner to our shelter on multiple occasions! Thank you for helping us ensure dinner is provided for our survivors and their families. 💜

Every donation and volunteer plays a vital piece in the domestic violence intervention and prevention work we do each day. Survivors and their families at our shelter have access to a case manager, counseling, legal services and affordable housing services. Securing meals is one piece of the puzzle. We are thankful for our loving commnity.
