Troop 198 Youth completed CPR/AED training earlier in August with the Living 4 Zachary Foundation. Thank you to this wonderful organization for teaching & training youth and adults on how to perform CPR and how to use an AED and the generous gift of an AED.

Troop 198 had the opportunity to have a table at the “Rams Round Up and Meet the Teacher Night”. Thank you to Seth and ScoutMaster Cale Dingman and our New Member Chair Hanna Blitch! Good crowd and lots of questions - they didn’t have a chance to take more pictures!

Double duty today!!

Troop scouts and adults engaged in the Service project and annual tradition of helping our chartered organization Messiah Lutheran Church where we make the Early Lambs Childhood Playground safer for the kids! Thank you for letting us use your church for our troop meetings 🙏🏽💕 Thank you Amy Massey Myers, Director of Early Lambs Childhood Education and Ken Myers, COR of Troop 198 Plano.

And then a hands on FIRST AID ⛑️ 🩹CLINIC with McConnell. 4 hours of a fun delivery by an experienced Dallas Fire-Rescue member!! Thank you Mike. And thank you Rob McLain and John Fuentes for setting up.

This one is always a fun and learning meeting, especially for our younger and new Scouts. How to build a flag pole when there isn’t one around, hoist the flag up that pole and fold the flags properly. And clean up afterwards!!

Our Troop 198 has always been known for kindness AND tolerance AND acceptance. It is the reason why many families have chosen us. We are small but mighty. I CHALLENGE our current and future Youth members to continue to be the STEWARDS of that temperament. 🙏🏽💕🙏🏽💕🙏🏽

What I know from six years of leading Troop 163 is that these girls invigorate scouting rather than weaken it.
