Interested in helping keep our library organized and running smoothly? Mrs. Chavez is looking for volunteers to help with shelving, organizing, and keeping the library tidy. Scan the QR code on the flyer to sign up!

📦 Cardboard Donations Wanted
The Bethany Library is collecting cardboard for an upcoming October contest! Donations can be dropped off in the front office. Thank you for helping us prepare for something fun!

🌟 We have a National Math Star at Bethany! 🌟 Congratulations to our very own Theo Duran, who has been named a National Math Star! Theo is one of just 30 Plano ISD students, and 618 young mathematicians nationwide, to earn this incredible distinction.

We are so proud of you, Theo! Your Bethany family is celebrating this amazing accomplishment with you! 🧠➕⭐️

The numbers are in, and an incredible 𝟯𝟬 Plano ISD students are officially National Math Stars! ⭐

They are among 618 young mathematicians to earn this distinction. Congratulations to these students for this tremendous accomplishment!

Growing strong minds starts with understanding how they grow. 🧠 Plano ISD families are invited to 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬: 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, a workshop exploring child development, the developing brain, youth mental health, substance use and the neuroscience of addiction.
Join us for an evening focused on learning, understanding and staying connected as our students grow.

✨🏃‍♀️ Get ready to GLOW, Bethany! 🏃‍♂️✨ The Bethany Glow Run Fundraiser is officially underway! From September 1-30, students can invite friends and family to support Bethany by donating through their personal fundraising pages. 💛

Then, on December 4, we’ll celebrate all that hard work with our Glow Run! 🌟 Students are encouraged to wear bright colors and glowing accessories as we run, laugh, cheer, and light up the night together. This once-a-year PTA fundraiser is a fun way to support our school while bringing our Bethany community together through fitness, school spirit, and FUN!

5th Grade Scientists at Work! 🧪Our 5th graders put their scientific thinking to the test as they investigated a simple but intriguing question: Will sand, sugar, salt, or cornstarch dissolve in water?

Students made observations, tested each substance, compared results, and used evidence to determine what happens when different materials are mixed with water. 🔍 Hands-on investigations like this turn curiosity into discovery and give our students the chance to think, test, observe, and explain! 💡 Plano Independent School District

🧦 We’re socking it to another school year at Bethany! 🧦 Our Bunch showed off their silliest, brightest, and most mismatched socks for Wednesday of Howdy Week! From favorite characters to wild patterns, these crazy socks definitely brought some extra fun to the halls today.
