What an incredible day we had last weekend at our annual Carnival & Resource Fair! ❤️🎪

Our hearts are full as we reflect on a day filled with laughter, games, music, learning, and community. Thank you to all of the families who came out to celebrate with us and made this event so special. Your participation and enthusiasm are what bring our school community to life.

A special thank you to the organizations and community partners who generously shared their time, resources, and services with our families. Your commitment to supporting our children and community does not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful.

Together, we continue to build a village where families feel connected, supported, and celebrated. Thank you for making this year's Carnival & Resource Fair a wonderful success; we can't wait to do it again next year! 🎉✨

Union County’s Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8 ) will open its waiting list and will be accepting 500 applications beginning Friday, May 22, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. through the Union County Section 8 website.

We must take time to congratulate our very own Ms. Maria Lazarte who has been named a Union County SHERO for 2026! In addition to being an amazing Teacher Assistant with SSYC, she volunteers and teaches ESL Classes to the community every Saturday!!! Her students love her and surprised her by submitting her recommendation application in ENGLISH!! Ms. Maria thank you and CONGRATULATIONS we are so blessed to have and we are so proud of you 🥰🥰🥰🥰🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉🎉❤️❤️❤️❤️

A beautiful morning filled with families, love, and smiles 💛

Our Month of the Young Child Family Brunch, hosted by Fountain Baptist Church, brought our SSYC community together in the best way. From shared meals to special moments between parents and children, it was a joyful celebration of connection, support, and the importance of family. We are so grateful for everyone who joined us and helped make the morning so meaningful ✨

Stretch, breathe, and grow 🌱🧘‍♀️

Our Little Sprouts Yoga Day was the perfect way to celebrate the Month of the Young Child! Our preschoolers practiced simple yoga poses, mindfulness, and relaxation while building strength, balance, and confidence. It was a calm and joyful day filled with movement, laughter, and learning; reminding us how important it is to nurture both growing bodies and minds 💚✨

A special thank you to our wonderful yoga instructor, Ms. Rebecca, for guiding our little sprouts through such a peaceful and engaging experience!
