Since the city wants to ignore the former members of Plainfield Rescue Squad - we will just go live and public and make a whole bunch of noise because behind every lie the TRUTH must be unfolded!

The situation in Plainfield has reached a pivotal juncture, as the former members of the Plainfield Rescue Squad express their deep frustration with the city's administration. Our efforts to communicate have been met with silence since the start of 2026. After reaching out to local platforms like TapIntoPlainfield and utilizing social media, our voices have seemingly gone unheard. In response to this ongoing neglect, we have decided that it is time to escalate our message and take our story even further.

The city has not only disregarded their concerns for our side of things to be heard, but they have also spread misinformation about the former Plainfield Rescue Squad. We are determined to clear our name and protect the legacy of the squad. Please view the screenshots below to prove that we have been in contact with the cities administration even have had meetings with them. They have failed to speak to the former President start of this year. The city started to communication someone who abandoned the entire team once demoted from their position, holds no weight and still has some unanswered questions with the former PRS board. Do better administration, do better!

Residents of Plainfield are caught in the middle of this contentious dispute. Many are concerned about the state of the city as a whole. They have observed that the city is currently grappling with significant financial challenges, including substantial debt, 9 million - isn’t that what the city said on TheBuzz. The streets are in disrepair, with rough patches and unfinished work detracting from the community's overall appearance. Additionally, local festivities, which once brought vitality and visitors to the area from surrounding cities, have been canceled, further exacerbating residents' dissatisfaction. Also with the latest storm and still thousands without power and the City did not set up all day and night cooling stations, PSE&G gave the city charging stations, water and ice.

We the former members of the Plainfield Rescue Squad question when the community will reclaim its voice and take action against what they perceive as mismanagement and deception. We have seen on several plateforms residents requesting that the Mayor and his administration be audited. So let's make it clear Queen City, do not allow the administration to continue with what has been happening in this city, damaging to the residents but pocket fillers to those whom don't have backbones. The unfolding events represent a clash of interests within the city, highlighting the need for accountability, transparency, and a return to effective governance.

As we prepare to make our case a major one, we the former squad members hope to inspire our fellow residents to engage actively with the issues affecting Plainfield. We believe that by raising this awareness, we might rally support for not only the rescue squad’s reputation, but also the broader health of the community. We are not the same Plainfield City since this new line admins. With that being said, whether or not, if we succeed in bringing about change remains to be masked our determination highlights a critical moment for many in Plainfield.

Protect the legacy of Plainfield Rescue Squad, as we have been around way too long, since 1955. Do not let Plainfield Rescue Squad go out as a rumor and lie!

👋🏾 Farewell to the Plainfield Rescue Squad

To our beloved community, family, friends, supporters, patients who became friends and then family and to our dedicated members of the Plainfield Rescue Squad 🥺

It saddens us to know that the city would do anything to obtain our property including watching us post videos on cleaning up our yard because they secretly sent summons about the grass and trash. Our volunteers came together, spent their monies to please the city as they gave us a Final to clean up, while residents watched, members came together and manicured the lawn and picked up the trash for several days. To the 2 kind, generous, neighbors that came by and offered assistance and even donated gas with a canister, and to our surprise when we came to clean up last Sunday our hedges and bush had been pulled up from another neighbor. We show great appreciation to those families. THANK YOU! The city owes you a THANK YOU as well. Plainfield, what happened to the relationships that were built? The Plainfield Rescue squad, a place once here to serve the Queen City Community, turned family, which made us better at our jobs as WE LIVE HERE! So many youth that were inspired that are now flourishing in their adulthood. What happened Plainfield? We did all of that so the city could put us on Monday’s meeting agenda with no invite - “Eminent Domain” and even with a first reading pass - with no hesitation 🥺

Queen City, as we say goodbye, our hearts are filled with gratitude, pride, and countless memories. Words can hardly express how thankful we are for the unwavering support, friendship, and trust that so many of you have given throughout the years.

The Plainfield Rescue Squad has been more than an organization—it has been a family. Together, we have shared moments of challenge and triumph, answered calls for help, stood beside our neighbors in times of need, and built bonds that will last a lifetime. Through every emergency, every act of service, and every sacrifice, we were united by a common purpose: helping others.

To our community, thank you for allowing us the privilege of serving you. Your encouragement, kindness, and support have meant more than you will ever know. To our families and friends, thank you for your patience, understanding, and love throughout the many hours spent answering the call of duty. To every member, past and present, thank you for your dedication, commitment, and selfless service. Each of you has left an indelible mark on this organization and on the lives of those we have served.

While this chapter may be coming to a close, the memories, friendships, and legacy of the Plainfield Rescue Squad will live on forever. Though we may part ways, the impact we have made together can never be erased. Every life touched, every hand extended, and every moment of compassion will remain a testament to what this remarkable family has accomplished.

Please know that each and every one of you will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. The bonds we have formed and the memories we have shared will remain in our hearts for years to come.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our journey. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve alongside you and for you. Our building may be gone, but the family we have built will forever stay strong!
