What an incredible finish for our Plainfield High School HOSA students at the HOSA International Leadership Conference, where more than 15,000 students from around the world came together to compete, learn, and showcase their skills.

We are proud to celebrate several outstanding accomplishments:

🥈 Ella Ellis earned 2nd Place Internationally for her speech, Champion of Change, inspiring audiences with a message about leadership, advocacy, and making a positive difference.

🏅 Maria Kovach finished in the Top 10 Internationally in Extemporaneous Writing – Healthcare Policy. In her event, Maria wrote a letter to a legislator advocating for healthcare occupations to be recognized as professional careers and arguing for increased financial aid opportunities for students pursuing healthcare education.

🏅 Jacey Lowe earned a Top 10 International finish in Personal Care.

🏅 Autumn Jennings finished in the Top 20 Internationally in Clinical Lab Science.

We are incredibly proud of all of our Quakers who represented PHS on the international stage with professionalism, confidence, and excellence.

A special thank you to Mrs. Townsend and Mr. McAdams for their leadership, dedication, and unwavering support of our students throughout the year. Their commitment helps create opportunities that allow PHS students to compete and succeed at the highest levels.

What an incredible week for our Plainfield High School HOSA students at the HOSA International Leadership Conference, where more than 15,000 students from across the world gathered to compete, learn, and grow as future healthcare professionals.

Among the many highlights was Ella Ellis, who presented her speech, Champion of Change, sharing an inspiring message and representing PHS on the international stage.

We are also proud to celebrate two outstanding competitive achievements. Autumn Jennings finished in the Top 20 internationally in Clinical Lab Science, while Jacey Lowe earned a Top 10 finish in Personal Care at ILC.

From presentations and testing to skills events and leadership experiences, our Quakers demonstrated the preparation, professionalism, and passion that define our HOSA program. Congratulations to all of our competitors for an outstanding week representing Plainfield High School.

Another successful day for our PHS HOSA students at the International Leadership Conference.

Today’s final competitor was Hallee Ogden, who presented in the Family Medicine Physician event. Her project included both a physician job shadow experience and an interview with a primary care physician and a medical student, providing valuable insight into the field of family medicine and the pathway to becoming a healthcare professional.

With today’s events complete, we now look ahead to tomorrow’s competitions and eagerly await results from today’s testing rounds. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that many of our Quakers advance to the skills portion of their events.

No matter the results, our students continue to represent Plainfield High School with professionalism, confidence, and a commitment to excellence. Good luck to all of our competitors as the week continues!

The competition continues at HOSA International, and our Plainfield High School students are making the most of every opportunity to showcase their skills and knowledge.

Today, the Parliamentary Procedure team completed its first round of testing, while Health Education competitors presented their lessons to judges.

Additional competitors in action today included Autumn Jennings in Clinical Lab Science, along with the Mental Health Promotion team of Kayla Welte, Josie Shepperd, Bella Boley, Emmanuella Princewell, and Parneet Sandhu.

We also want to recognize Macyn Jones (Biotechnology) and Jaelen Bomar (Physical Therapy), who completed their testing today as well.

Whether presenting, testing, collaborating, or competing, these Quakers are representing PHS with professionalism, preparation, and confidence. We are proud of all of our HOSA students as they continue their international competition journey.

Another exciting day for our PHS HOSA students as international competition continues this week.

Today, Ayla Doty is competing in Speaking Skills, demonstrating her ability to communicate effectively and confidently in a professional setting.

Jacey Lowe is competing in Personal Care Skills, applying the knowledge and techniques she has developed through her healthcare education and training.

Maria Kovach is competing in Extemporaneous Writing, where she has been given a policy scenario and must craft a formal letter to her Congressman, showcasing her ability to think critically, analyze complex issues, and communicate clearly under pressure.

We are proud of these Quakers for representing Plainfield High School on the international stage and wish them the best of luck in competition today!

While summer break may have begun, learning and competition continue for our PHS HOSA students as they represent Plainfield High School on the international stage this week.

Competition begins today with CPR events, and our Quakers are ready to showcase the knowledge, skills, and preparation that earned them a spot among the nation’s best.

We also have exciting news to celebrate. Jacey Lowe was awarded a $1,000 Technical Honors/HOSA Scholarship this evening. Only seven of these scholarships are awarded nationwide, making this an incredible accomplishment and a testament to Jacey’s hard work and dedication.

Congratulations to Jacey, and best of luck to all of our HOSA competitors as they represent PHS this week. We’re proud of you, Quakers!

Today we celebrate the Class of 2026 at Plainfield High School.

This group of 423 graduates has left a lasting mark on PHS through academics, service, leadership, the arts, athletics, career preparation, and the relationships they built along the way. From AP Scholars and Indiana College Core completers to student leaders, performers, athletes, interns, and future military enlistees, the Class of 2026 represents the very best of what it means to be a Quaker.

The numbers tell an impressive story, but they only capture part of the impact this class has made. Behind every statistic are students who challenged themselves, supported one another, and helped strengthen the culture of Plainfield High School.
