Earlier this year, the library received a $10,000 grant from the American Library Association to improve access to library services for people who have difficulty getting to the library because of illness or mobility challenges. As part of the grant, we're hosting a Community Conversation to hear your ideas about how we can best use the funds. Join us Saturday, September 19 at 1 PM to share your thoughts. Refreshments will be available!
Some of the questions we'll explore:
Should we create a delivery system for books and other materials?
Would a ride-share program help people get to the library?
Would you participate in a volunteer delivery system?
Should we invest in equipment to livestream programs and make recordings available afterward?
How could we make our website more accessible?
Should we offer portable Wi-Fi hotspots for patrons to borrow?
