The Kindergarten Class visited the Fire Station during Fire Prevention week. They got a tour of the fire station, got to spray the fire hose and rode back to school in a fire truck! They also received a bag full of goodies, including a fire hat!!

Plain students' tummies are full! We enjoyed our ABC countdown for Lonesome Stone Milling pancake breakfast! Yum!

The Third Grade students wrote and illustrated a fictional story that they submitted a few weeks ago to the 2016 State Literacy Competition. The students started them back in October and finished them three weeks ago.They really put a lot of hard work and dedication into their books. As a result of their hard work, we had some winners! The students were judged among all third graders in Sauk and Richland Counties based on story content, neatness, free of errors, illustrations and more. The class is happy to announce we had three winners!

Today First graders studied States of Matter (solid and liquids) after reading Bartholomew and the Oobleck by Dr. Suess. They each made the Oobleck by mixing 2 Tablespoons cornstarch, 1 Tablespoon water and 2 drops of food coloring.
