This is a page for supporters of Columbus and Franklin County Metro Par Much of the 1,037-acre park was once covered with farmland.

Glacier Ridge was named for the end moraine or glacial debris left behind when the glaciers retreated some 12,000 to 17,000 years ago. Visitors can traverse a boardwalk through the Honda Wetlands Area or climb a 25-foot observation tower to see waterfowl and other animals. Walk, jog or bike the paved 3 mile Marshhawk trail, or the paved 2.5 mile Ironweed trail (not a loop so out and back is 5 mile

s). Bring your disc and play the 18 hole disc golf course. There is a playground for the kids, along with picnic tables, grills and a first come first serve picnic shelter. Entrance to the park is free, in thanks to the tax levy supported by Franklin County voters.

The tram ride will last about 20 minutes and run continuously between 10-12pm and 1-4pm.

Family tram rides kick off this Friday! Join us along the electric tram to see the amazing sights of our park and learn a little history!

We will meet at Lot 2 beside the restrooms. The tram seats about 20 people, tickets will be passed out a half hour before each ride. Each ride is about 50 minutes, with a break at the wetlands.

The tram will run at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, and the last ride will leave at 6pm

You may have noticed our one way signs up at Glacier Ridge. We normally set this up for large programs, but to offer more parking consistently we are leaving it up for the summer!

You can follow the signs for each parking lot and park on the left if a parking lot gets filled.
