Success in Stockton! ๐Ÿ†

Our Explorers headed to competition last weekend and proved that hard work pays off! We are incredibly proud to announce that our team brought home:

1st Place: Rescue Task Force

2nd Place: Officer Down

A special congratulations goes out to Explorer Lieutenant Audrey, who received a Scholarship Award for her exceptional performance. Audrey impressed the judges with her professionalism and amazing oral board interview skills, demonstrating the high standards we strive for.

For many of our members, this was their very first competition. Seeing them step up and succeed under pressure was the highlight of our weekend. Weโ€™re already looking forward to the next one!

Today is School Resource Officer Appreciation Day, and we are taking a moment to recognize the vital role these deputies play in our community.

Our School Resource Officers are far more than just a uniform on campus. They are mentors, educators, and a consistent bridge between law enforcement and the next generation. Every day, they work to foster a safe and supportive learning environment, building relationships based on trust and mutual respect.

A huge congratulations to one of our own, Logan! After years of dedicated service to Explorer Post #457, he has officially begun his career as a Correctional Officer with the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office.

Ever since Logan joined he has been a pillar of the Post. He rose to the rank of Explorer Sergeant, comes from a proud law enforcement family, and distinguished himself at Explorer Competitions where he was part of several 1st place teams.

Logan, your dedication has been an inspiration, and we couldn't be prouder. We are thrilled to see the Explorer program continue to serve as a pipeline for dedicated individuals from our community to begin their careers in law enforcement.

Come join us for the Placerville Christmas Parade! We are incredibly honored to be the grand finale this year, escorting the one and only Santa Claus through town. Bring the whole family and stay until the very end to wave to St. Nick! ๐ŸŽ„โœจ

We run to remember. ๐Ÿ’™

Our Explorer Post recently completed our annual Ishmael Memorial Run to honor the memory of Deputy Brian Ishmael. This year was especially meaningful as we invited neighboring law enforcement agencies and local firefighters to run alongside us.

Seeing our first responder family come together to pay tribute reminds us of the strength of our community. We will never forget.
