**Storm Threat Message**

Properties in and adjacent to the burn area of the Caldor Fire, as well as downstream from the burn area, are at high risk for flash flooding, debris flow, or mudslides. Areas that receive accumulated snow fall may be at higher risk for avalanche. Be vigilant and be prepared with a plan for evacuation or to self-sustain should you need to shelter in place. If your residence has only one route for evacuation, you may consider temporarily relocating. This weather event is anticipated to continue through Tuesday, October 26. Thank you and be safe.

When Smoke Gets in Your Eyes

A change in wind direction is expected to send from growing Northern CA into the Sacramento & San Joaquin Valleys. Expect impacts beginning around midday today, lasting into Saturday.

Our friends at the US National Weather Service Sacramento California tell us that today's air quality forecast shows moderate to unhealthy conditions as wildfire smoke is expected to impact much of interior NorCal.

El Dorado County Air Quality Management District advises us that drift smoke from the wildfires outside of our County has moved in to El Dorado County.
