George Turnboo, El Dorado County District 2 Supervisor Supervisor George Turnboo represents residents of EDC District 2. George Turnboo is an El Dorado County original.

George's ancestors lived in the area since the 1840s, and he raised a family here. George has been a local business owner for over 40 years. As a business owner, George understands the challenges for businesses as well as the benefits for the local economy. He supports law enforcement as community protection, and believes in properly managed growth through basic infrastructure and services.

Great reporting from KCRA 3 and ABC10 regarding the kickoff event with HomeAid Sacramento that celebrated the first six homes to be built under the Caldor Fire Rebuild Program. The event was an emotional coming together of the community to show support for the 2021 Caldor Fire survivors still needing homes. Special thanks to Board of Supervisors, Planning and Building Director Karen Garner, Amber Robbins and Price Walker for coordinating this effort, and the home builders who will conduct the work. I have been working on this for years, and it has been a long time coming to provide an out-of-box solution to help the residents in Grizzly Flats to have a place to call home. We are still fighting with federal government to provide FEMA Individual Assistance to residents.
