Save the date for a blood drive at our library next month, presented by the American Red Cross of Orange County and held in partnership with the Placentia Library and City of Placentia. Ages 17+, appointments available at placentialibrarydistrict.ca.gov/blood-drive and walk-ins welcome. Visit redcrossblood.org or stop by the Community Meeting Room during the blood drive to review blood donation eligibility requirements.

Save the date! Join artist Flór Campos on Thursday, June 18, for an evening of nature painting in the library’s new outdoor butterfly garden space. Supplies will be provided, and participants can take home their canvas at the end of the evening.

Free entry tickets will be issued starting at 5:30 p.m. for Placentia Library Friends Foundation (PLFF) members, and 5:45 p.m. for library patrons. No registration needed, space is limited. First come, first served. Program will be held in the Community Meeting Room in the case of weather, see website for updates. Ages 14+.
