Thank you to everyone who came out to the 71st consecutive year that the Quakertown Fire Company has organized a community event to honor those who died to ensure our Freedom. Despite the rain, the turnout was great and the message from our students and guest speaker was inspiring.

A solemn and impactful day in our Town to remember the Fallen heroes.

Join QFC on Monday morning at the 71st consecutive Memorial Day service being held in front of the Franklin Twp School. Service starts at 9:15 and lasts about 30 mins.

Remember those who died serving our country and protecting our Freedom!

This week has been another hard sad week with the passing of FF/EMT and retired Police Officer Peter Serrone. Pete was a staple in Emergency services for nearly 30 years until his retirement 2 years.

Pete was an Asst Chief at QFC in early 2000s when he lived in Quakertown.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Pete’s family, friend and colleagues as the mourn the passing of a dedicated public servant and family man.

A busy Thursday afternoon for which included a request for a medical helicopter after an equestrian accident in Franklin Twp. Ambulance 91-51 responded to the scene for patient care while Engine 91 and Brush 91 assisted at the landing zone.

Just a terrible day in the Hunterdon County Fire Service Family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Saharic family, the LBFC family and everyone else that feels this tremendous loss.

It is with profound grief that Michele Saharic and family announce the untimely passing of her beloved husband, Past Chief Kevin Saharic, details will follow, presently the funeral is under the direction of Scarponi Funeral Home, Lebanon Borough.
