Here are the results of the Municipal Election for the Town of Pittston for 6-9-26. The only results I have not completed are the Personnel Committee. As there were no candidates, we are sifting through a lot of write-ins and will have to contact the winners to see if they accept.

I want to say, as Clerk, this was a difficult election for me. I did not anticipate the turnout we had. I prepared as much as I could. There was difficulty in getting election workers. But the group of people I had last night was amazing. I had seasoned veterans as well as first-time election workers. Everyone worked together magnificently, and even though it was daunting, they hit the ground running. It was my first Primary of this magnitude, and I learned a lot and will be prepared for the November election. I couldn't have done what I was able to do without my Deputy Clerk, Sue, and our election workers and Warden, John. Christian helped before he left for a much-needed vacation with Tally Sheets, and helped with the things I had on my plate with deadlines. Marie ran and got lunch for everyone. It takes a village, and I am proud of the people I work with and the election clerks who helped last night. You guys rock, and I appreciate your efforts!!
