The Castleton Firefighter II class was in our burn building last weekend putting their skills to work! The focus was coordinating an interior fire attack. This relies on thorough size-ups, critical decision making, and stong communication, but as you as you can see, foundational skills are absolutely critical to getting the job done.

Flammable gas and ignitable liquid fire control is an important job performance requirement within our Firefighter II programs. The Castleton Firefighter II class put their new knowledge and skills to work last weekend in this intense practical session.

The Newport Firefighter II class was busy this weekend practicing vehicle extrication skills. Thanks to local supporters at Ray's Towing and Recovery and Wright Brothers Metal Recycling for their generous assistance with this training day!
