“Today, these investments start to become reality,” said Sen. Mark. “These aren’t just line items in a budget anymore—they’re real dollars that will be in the hands of schools, municipalities, nonprofits, first responders, and community organizations this fiscal year. Every one of these investments began with a conversation in one of our communities about a need or an opportunity, and I’m glad that we’ve been able to deliver meaningful state support that will make a lasting difference across western Massachusetts.”
The investments will support behavioral health, education, public safety, transportation, child care, nonprofits, and local communities across the region.
