Join us Wednesday, June 17 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Zoom and Facebook Live for an Action Conversation on Courts for Equality. ASL interpretation is provided. Register now at ywcapgh.org/conversations.
Courts have long been central arenas in the struggle for equality, serving as spaces where unjust laws are challenged and fundamental rights are defined and defended. This panel explores how impact litigation is used to confront discrimination based on race, gender, and other identities, while also examining the limits of legal systems in delivering true justice. Panelists from the Women's Law Project discuss how the fight for equality continues both inside and beyond the courtroom in pursuit of peace, justice, dignity, and freedom for all.
Moderator: Judy Hale - Director of Pro Bono Services, Pennsylvania Bar Association
