🐔 A concerned citizen brought a chicken to the library and asked:

"What do I do when I find a chicken? I thought librarians would know!"

We're happy to report that this very friendly hen was reunited with her owner shortly afterward. While she did not get a library card, she may have earned a spot as CLP-Beechview's new (unofficial) temporary mascot.

Now we need your help: What should we name this beautiful bird? Current staff favorites include Eggatha Christie and Emily Chickenson.

CLP-Main remembers the life of Gloria Steinem, writer, activist, and Ms. Magazine co-founder with a pop-up display in the 2nd floor hallway.
