We are the City of Pittsburgh Department of Parks & Recreation, more commonly and affectionately known as CitiParks. CitiParks will be sharing updates and information on our 165 parks, 23 Recreation and Senior Centers, 18 Outdoor Pools, Seasonal Indoor Pool, 8 Spray Parks, Schenley Ice Rink, Indoor and Outdoor Tennis offerings, Programs and much more! Whether appreciating open space, participating in a sporting event, taking a dip in one of the 18 swimming pools, biking a trail or enjoying a family picnic, there is always something to do and a multitude of individuals engaged. Congratulations to our CitiParks Community Enrichment team on being recognized by Councilwoman Warwick Pittsburgh City Council - District 5 and Pittsburgh City Council for 25 incredible years of Alphabet Trail & Tales! 🎉📚

Since 2000, this amazing program has brought the magic of early and elementary storybooks to life—creating educational, interactive fun for more than 5,000 children and families every year!

We hope you can join us this Saturday from 10AM - 1PM at Blue Slide Park for our 25th Anniversary of Alphabet Trail & Tales!

Our remaining open outdoor pools will close for the season on Monday evening, but we’re excited to welcome everyone back...

Our remaining open outdoor pools will close for the season on Monday evening, but we’re excited to welcome everyone back indoors at the Oliver Bath House beginning Tuesday, September 8! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

We’ll kick things off with "modified hours" through September 27th, before expanding activities and programming for the season.

If you’re interested in programming, registration begins on Sunday, September 19th. 📅

We can’t wait to see you back on the Southside and in the pool at Oliver Bath House!

After a summer of construction and renovations, the courts at Moore Park in Brookline are officially OPEN! We’ve got 3 brand-new tennis courts, 4 pickleball courts and a brand-new basketball court ready for you to play, compete and have some fun!

A huge THANK YOU to our friends at the Pittsburgh Department of Public Works for helping make this project happen. 🤝

Rev your engines and get to Allegheny Commons for an afternoon at the City of Pittsburgh's official car cruise-in, with awards, car clubs, vendors, food trucks, and more from 12-4 PM.

At this free-admission event, the first 150 cars will receive an official event t-shirt, and all vehicles are eligible for an award in one of ten unique categories - stay tuned for the full list of available awards to be announced soon!
