Please welcome EMT Shelby Lunn to the team! Shelby first got involved in public safety through her local fire department ( Etna Fire Department ) before deciding to pursue EMS. Shelby currently works as a full-time EMT with our neighbors Shaler Hampton EMS and will be joining us part-time to further build on her experience. Shelby hopes to achieve paramedic certification in the future.

***UPDATE: Our blood drive was a success! 17 people were able to donate. Our goal was to collect 18 units of blood. We ultimately collected 21! These donations are enough to save as many as 63 lives!

Thank you to all who donated and helped spread the word and thank you to our partners at Vitalant.

Our next drive will be Friday July 24th from 12:30pm-5:30pm. We hope for all the continued support to make that event equally as successful

Today we're introducing the next member of the Ross West View family - EMT Jake Traeger! Traeger is relatively new to the EMS field after leaving a career as a plumber. He starts with us as a part-time employee, but hopes to transition to full-time when available. Jake also plans to pursue a paramedic education down the line like his father Mike Traeger who has spent years with the organization as a PHRN. On Jake's first ride-along (with his father no less), the crew successfully resuscitated a man in cardiac arrest who ultimately survived and has since returned home to his family.

Welcome Jake!

Next we're thrilled to introduce EMT Haeley Jones!

Haeley initially joined us as a volunteer at the beginning of the year and will be transitioning to a paid part-time role. She is a Pitt graduate and spends her day-job as a clinical dietician predominantly working with intensive care patients. She's excited by her experiences outside of the more controlled environment of the hospital and can't wait to see where her EMS career takes her

Welcome Haeley!

Good morning neighbors!
Over the next few days we are having the roof on our station replaced. This is a welcome improvement and needed as the existing roof is over 20 years old. This will not cause any disruption to our emergency operations however it will affect access to our billing office. We suggest if you need to visit the office in the next few days to please call ahead and one of our staff members will meet you in the parking lot to es**rt you into the building through a safe entry point. We apologize for any inconvenience.
