This is very important information. If you have recently changed addresses within Allegheny County, these folks are actively trying to remove you from the voter rolls by challenging your registration. Please do not ignore any mail you receive from the Allegheny County Board of Elections, and if you have changed addresses, please make sure you have updated your registration!

I will put a link in the comments where you can verify your registration.

A Republican faction is asking election officials to trim voters from the list. In an atmosphere of election suspicion, some fear the bid could feed an "echo chamber."

September 19 special election have begun going out. There are approximately 5,600 ballot packets that have been requested to date by voters in the 21st Legislative District. The district includes all of Etna, Millvale, Reserve and Shaler, as well as portions of the City of Pittsburgh.

As you may have heard, Lindsay Powell is our Democratic nominee to fill the vacancy in PA HD 21, the seat previously held by Sara Innamorato (who of course is running to become our next County Executive in Allegheny County). The Special Election for this State House seat is set for Tue, Sep 19th, with mail-in balloting occurring in the weeks before that.

There IS a Republican opponent in this race. Let's make certain that Lindsay Powell WINS this race so that Democrats KEEP THE MAJORITY in the PA State House.

If you are in SWPA and would like to volunteer to door knock for Lindsay, please sign up to do so on her website, or connect with her Campaign Manager, Carver Murphy, to have you added to their volunteer list.

Also, campaigns do cost $$$. Please feel free to contribute whatever you are able to at her campaign page below. Every $ matters and is appreciated!

Allegheny County secured the Democratic PA House majority earlier this year. Let's do it again this September, and ensure Lindsay Powell wins election on Sep 19th!
