In honor of National Gun Violence Awareness Month, we are proud to share our 2nd Annual Abraxas Unarmed Gun Violence Awareness Month Posters. This year's designs feature artwork created by the talented youth in our residential programs. Their creativity and voices help raise awareness, inspire conversation, and reinforce our commitment to violence prevention and positive change in our communities.

Creativity is a powerful tool for healing. Our Guidance Counselors at Abraxas I are engaging students through A Window Between Worlds, facilitating groups and coordinating healing arts projects. Promoting self-expression, resilience, and personal growth - this opportunity empowers youth to share their stories, strengthen their voices, and support their path forward.

Revved up and SOLD OUT! 🏁🌭

Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by the Abraxas I food trailer during Tour-De-Forest this weekend! On Saturday alone we grilled 880 hot dogs, served 340 kielbasa sandwiches, and piled high pulled pork nachos from 4 pork butts—sold out by 2:45 p.m.

We hustled, re-prepped, and were back at it Sunday to keep riders fueled up. Appreciate the support and the smiles.

At Abraxas Ohio, we’ve created a visual tool to help our youth see and celebrate their progress through their treatment journey. Each milestone is a chance to share their growth, resilience, and hard work with those who support them. There may be moments of uncertainty—that’s human. What matters is staying engaged, staying curious, and moving forward at a steady pace. With support from their treatment team and peers, youth are turning uncertainty into confidence, momentum, and lasting change.
