Based in Western Pennsylvania and established in 2024, Antorik is a home away from home, for all like-minded Bengalis of the region, united in the common cause of promoting the rich heritage of Bengal through social and cultural events throughout the year. ​Antorik is one of the foremost non-profit organization of the Bengali community in the Pittsburgh region with growing memberships and is commi

tted to creating a safe and nurturing environment for all of its patrons, young and old, who are bound by the common interest while acting collectively at all times as ideal citizens of the community at large through all cultural and charitable events.

As we draw the curtains on our Rabindra Jayanti edition of Canvas of Antorik, we celebrate one final tribute to Kobiguru Rabindranath Tagore—a beautiful violin performance that echoes the timeless melodies he gifted to generations.

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and shared their creativity through music, dance, recitation, paintings, writings, and performances. Your contributions transformed this initiative into a vibrant celebration of art, culture, and community.

Though this chapter comes to an end, the words, music, and spirit of Kobiguru will continue to inspire us every day.

Antorik ~ Bengali Association of Greater Pittsburgh organized a Volunteer Service Day at Global Links on 05/12/2026, where members of our community came together to support a Pittsburgh-based medical relief and development organization that recovers high-quality surplus medical supplies from U.S. hospitals and redistributes them to public healthcare institutions across Latin America, the Caribbean, and beyond. Our volunteers — including children, parents, and working professionals — spent the day sorting, inspecting, and packing critically needed medical supplies that would otherwise have ended up in landfills, contributing directly to Global Links' mission of Sharing Surplus, Saving Lives. The hands-on experience gave our younger volunteers a meaningful first exposure to humanitarian service, while reinforcing Antorik's commitment to environmental stewardship and global healthcare equity. Since 1989, Global Links has delivered over $200 million in critical medical aid, and we are proud that Antorik now stands among the community partners helping carry that mission forward.

We would like to thank Global Links and Volunteer Supervisor Alyssa Keefer for hosting our team, and every Antorik volunteer who contributed a combined 14 service hours on this day.
