August is National Wellness Month. 💚

Wellness isn't about being perfect—it's about taking small, intentional steps to care for your mental and physical health.

Whether it's taking a walk, getting enough sleep, connecting with a friend, or asking for help when you need it, every small step matters.

This month, we encourage you to make your well-being a priority. When we care for ourselves, we're better able to care for others.

Thank you for making our second Mind Matters town hall such a meaningful conversation. 💚

We're grateful to everyone who joined us for Mind Matters: Caring for the Caregiver to discuss the realities of caregiving and the importance of supporting caregivers' mental health.

A special thank you to our outstanding panelists for sharing their expertise and lived experiences:
- Pennsylvania Department of Aging Jason Kavulich
- Laura Power, disability rights advocate
- David Quel, educator, minister, and caregiver advocate
- Darah Thompson, nurse, caregiver, and co-host of Where's the Adult

Thank you as well to 90.5 WESA for bringing this important conversation to our community and to everyone who attended, asked thoughtful questions, and connected with local resources.

Together, we're helping build a future where behavioral health is understood, supported, and accepted.
