Our Story
The Allegheny County Law Library (ACLL) is a free, public law library open to legal professionals and the general public. A membership card is required to borrow library materials and to access some databases and other services. The Duquesne University Center for Legal Information offers a unique joint-library partnership to the legal community and public of Allegheny County and the western region of Pennsylvania. Based on an agreement between Duquesne University and Allegheny County, the two libraries offer a legal information center that hopefully will meet all patrons' needs.
