The Commodore Battalion always prides themselves on the impact we make on our cadets, past, present, and future. Featured is 3 of the last 4 of the Battalion Commanders. We saw great things from former Cadets Mares & Policicchio, and we only have the highest of expectations for Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Fraizer. Don't Give Up the Ship Commodores!

Once a year we celebrate those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Those who choose freedom over their youth. In this photo, we represent 3 branches of the Armed Forces. Former cadets Mares (right) and Policicchio (left) joined the U.S. Army (Policicchio) and the U.S.M.C (Mares). Perry JROTC AI SFC Holtz (middle right) has served his entire career in the U.S. Army, whereas his son Jordan (middle left) joined the U.S. Air Force. Though there are other branches that aren't represented in this picture, countless other cadets have joined the service. Though we would like to remind both parents and cadets that JROTC is not a commitment to join any branch of the Armed Forces, we would like to take this time to wish a Happy Veterans Day to these 4, and all other cadets who have chosen to commit their life to the uniform. Happy Veterans Day to all who have served past and present! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸͺ–πŸŽ–οΈ

Yesterday afternoon the Battalion said goodbye to another Battalion Commander.
Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Liam Mares participated in the JROTC program all 4 years of High School rising from the rank of Cadet Private all the way to Cadet Lieutenant Colonel. In 4 years Cadet Mare has helped pave the way for cadets past, present, and future.
He has dedicated his time to the program learning every aspect of leadership, teamwork, determination, hard work, and dedication. Through his years with the program he has assisted in shaping cadets into better citizens and overall people.
Cadet Mares has done everything in the Battalion from Color Guard, to Raiders, to Saber Team, to Marksmanship. He has participated in JCLC, JLAB, Leadership Conferences, and attended Valley Forge. He has earned medals for leadership, team building, and for being a superior cadet.
Cadet Mares has been nothing but an asset to the Commodore Battalion for the past 4 years and he will be dearly missed.
Following graduation Cadet Mares will be preparing this summer to leave for Basic Combat Training for the Unites States Marine Corps. He will be serving in the infantry once his training is complete.
Private Mares, good luck in your future endeavors and do us proud.
Semper Fi!

On Saturday, June, 8th, 2019 at 3pm, the Commodore Battalion said a final goodbye to several Cadets whom were in the JROTC program.
This year we said goodbye to many cadets including the now former Battalion Commander Liam Mares, Battalion staff members Brendin Trowell, Brian Juracko, former Battalion staff members Carrie-Bell Sampson, Tynaya Taylor, Jasmine Sultzer and others.
This graduating class has had more cadets than the class of 2017 and 2018 combined.
For the second consecutive year, the Battalion has had their Battalion Commander graduate in the top 3 of the class, and JROTC cadets in the top 10 of the class.
As these young individuals make their way into the world whether through continuing their education, serving our country, or going straight into the workforce, we wish them the best of luck and hope to hear their amazing stories in the future.
Congratulations class of 2019, and congratulations to the graduating cadets of past and present that walked the stage this year.
Let nothing stand in your way and let your happiness know no limits.

Graduating Cadets included:
Liam Mares: U.S. Marines
Brendin Trowell: IUP
Brian Juracko: CCAC
Carrie-Bell Sampson: Slippery Rock University
Teonna Nelson: U.S. Air Force
Justice Campbell
Daniel Hill
