So proud to be part of the Robinson Township Library touch a truck. The rain came and went but we stayed for every child to experience the ambulance and say hi to K9 Sirus. Thank you to all who supported this fabulous event!

We were honored to participate in Forest Grove VFD’s annual open house of which over 120 people visited. The weather held off and it was a beautiful night for all those who came out to support the event. Thank you.

K9 Sirus turns 10 today and has been serving for the past 8 years in the role of Certified Wilderness Search and Rescue K9 by the International Police Work Dog Association. Earlier this week, Robinson EMS, Covestro Emergency Response Team (Station 326), and AHN Allegheny General Hospital participated in a simulated hazardous material spill / mass casualty incident exercise at the Covestro campus in Robinson Township.

This drill strengthened our working relationship with the Covestro Emergency Response Team and helped identify potential areas of improvement in the event of an actual incident. Crews reviewed the treatment of patients with cyanide compound poisoning, administration of hydroxocobalamin antidote kits, EMTrack patient tracking operations, and observation of hospital MCI and Mass Decontamination operations.

We'd like to thank Covestro for involving us in this exercise ensuring we are prepared to respond to these low-occurrence high-acuity incidents.
