🌳 Tree Pittsburgh's tree adoption is open! These events are an important part of growing our tree canopy, right in your own yard.

Tree Adoption registrations are open now! Register today at treepittsburgh.org/tree-adoptions

Please remember that these registrations fill up very quickly due to high demand! We also give many selected low-canopy communities early access to registration before we release them to the public. This is part of our work to ensure everyone has equal access to the benefits trees provide.

We always encourage you to come to the end of an event to pick up any trees that remain unclaimed.

🏡 Bring up to 5 soil samples from your yard or garden and have them screened for lead FREE of charge. You’ll receive your results that day and have the opportunity to talk with Conservation District staff about what they mean.

Congratulations to ACCD Executive Director Heather Manzo on receiving the State Conservation Commission’s Leadership Training Excellence Award! 🌿

This prestigious annual award recognizes outstanding commitment to Pennsylvania’s conservation partnership leadership development and technical training efforts.

“What makes ACCD so effective is our people-focused philosophy,” says Heather. “It’s my honor every day to work alongside this team and support their critical work for our region.”
