Last year, was honored to be selected as the beneficiary of Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project (PUMP) Kickball for a Cause program🖤💛

The support we received helped us continue connecting residents to resources, and we're incredibly grateful to everyone who voted, played, donated, and supported our mission!🫶🏽

Now it's time to show some love to this year's finalists! 🎉🎉

PUMP's Kickball for a Cause voting is officially open and four amazing organizations are competing for this year's opportunity!!! 📣

We encourage our community to learn more about each organization and then go and cast your vote for the cause that resonates with you the most. ✅

At RentHelpPGH, our team of 20 Resource Navigators work alongside hundreds of households every month.

Through that work, we have spent countless hours researching service providers and different programs, confirming eligibility requirements, verifying contact information, and constantly looking for new community resources to be able to direct our tenants and landlords to.

In 2024, we began to formally organize and maintain all that information in an internal guide so staff could build upon each other's work rather than continually reinventing the wheel.

What started out as a way to capture our team's collective knowledge quickly became one of our most valuable tools!

Since collaboration is one of our core values, and we walk it like we talk it, we started wondering, if this resource was helping our team better serve residents, how much help could it be to our partners and neighbors? 🤔

We knew what we had to do….

Today, we're excited to introduce the RentHelpPGH’s Community Resource Guide and make it available to the broader Allegheny County community! 🎉🎉

The guide will be reviewed and updated quarterly and is designed to support both service providers and residents seeking housing, financial, legal, employment, health, and other community resources.

The success of the 2026 One Roof Housing Resource Fair highlighted a critical need within our community…access to accurate, accessible, and up-to-date information about the resources available throughout Allegheny County.

At RentHelpPGH, we've spent years connecting residents to housing and community resources, and we've seen firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate the ever-changing landscape of available services.

A new resource is on the way, and we can’t wait to share it with you! 🤭
