Worship Service and Meal: Sundays at 5:15pm

Drop-In Center: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-11:00am The homeless have a place to take showers and wash their clothes.

As followers of Jesus Christ we are committed to worship in Spirit and in Truth, raising up true worshipers in the church. We feed the hungry, the homeless, the poor, and the addicted, with God's Word and food every weekday morning in our Drop-In Center. We are a congregation of the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh - One Church of Miraculous Expectation and Missionary Grace. We provide transitional housing for homeless veterans in our Shepherd's Heart Veteran's Home. The second floor of the church provides 15 beds, a kitchen, a living room, showers, and a computer room for those who have served our country.

Thank you to Socks With A Mission Pittsburgh for donating thousands of socks to support our neighbors! Something as simple as a clean, warm pair of socks makes a real difference for the men and women we serve every day at the Drop-In Center & The Hill Free Store.
Special shout-out to Amy for coming down to tour Shepherd’s Heart and see firsthand the impact of this generosity. It means so much to have partners who care enough to walk alongside us — literally and figuratively.
We are so grateful for the community that comes behind us in keeping our neighbors' safe and dignified. 💙💜

Twenty-five years ago, our nation stood still. We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders who ran toward danger without hesitation to save others.

At Shepherd's Heart, we walk alongside many Veterans and neighbors who carry the weight of that day and the years of service and sacrifice that followed. Today, we hold space for their stories, their grief, and their resilience.

We will never forget.🤍

A big thank you to the American Legion 712 for hosting the Sports Memorabilia Auction this past Sunday and to the VFW post 1810 for generously allowing them to use the space for the event!

We were grateful to be part of such a great day filled with community, sports, and support. A special thank you to Dave M. for donating the memorabilia and choosing Shepherds Heart to receive the proceeds.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported the auction, and helped make the day a success. We’re grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up for our Veterans and neighbors. 🇺🇸

We love our church partners!
Last month, the incredible youth group from Church of the Ascension spent their time serving alongside us — helping put together hygiene kits, lending their hands in sort through clothes in the Hill Free Store.

It's a joy to watch a room full of young people show up and actually do it — cheerfully, humbly, and all in. That's exactly what this group brought.

Thank you, Church of the Ascension, for raising up a generation that shows up for their community. We're so grateful for your partnership and can't wait to have you back.

Join us for a Live Sports Memorabilia Auction supporting Veterans in need!

Hosted by American Legion Post 712, located inside VFW Post 1810 Brentwood, PA, this event brings the community together for an afternoon of great finds to support veterans in need including veterans in our care at Shepherd's Heart along with other organizations

🕐 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Auction starts at 2:30 PM
📍VFW 1810, 3801 Saw Mill Run Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227

Come bid, come support, and come stand with us for the men and women who served. Every item won means real support for a Veteran working to rebuild stability and hope.

September is National Su***de Prevention Month, and at Shepherd's Heart, we believe no one should carry that weight alone.

We walk alongside Veterans and neighbors every day who know what it means to feel forgotten, isolated, or like the fight is too heavy to keep carrying. For those who served — often coming home to battles no one else can see — reaching out shouldn't feel like one more thing to prove strength through. It's the opposite. It's brave.
