Don't miss tonight's Movie in the Pool Lot: GOAT

A small goat named Will gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball -- a high-intensity, full-contact sport that's dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world. Thank You, Dormont!

Vitalant hosted a blood drive at the Recreation Center on May 29. Eight units were donated – saving up to 24 lives. Nine people prescheduled to donate, and 10 people came in the day of the drive and went through screening. There were three first time donors.

The Keystone Oaks School District will be sponsoring a free lunch program this summer, beginning on Monday, June 8, 2026. Through the program, which is funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, a free nutritious bagged lunch will be available to any child 18 years of age or younger from any community at five distribution sites throughout the District. The program will run Monday through Friday throughout the summer.

Alvern Gardens, Castle Shannon
10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.

Keystone Oaks High School (Entrance C31 behind the building)
11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Wilson Park, Green Tree
11 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

Dormont Recreation Center

No photo identification or sign up is required in order for children to be able to receive lunch. Program guidelines from PDE require that the meal be eaten on site.

From organizing this week’s Movie in the Pool Lot to the Yoga in the Park, and so much more – stop by their meeting and learn how you can be a part of creating fun and activity for residents of the borough.

The meeting is Monday at 6 PM at the borough building – live and on Zoom.
