This is what legal victory looks like—and here’s what’s next for in Pennsylvania!
On this Monday, April 27 at 1 PM in Capitol East Wing Rotunda, I’m bringing together legislators, advocates, legal champions, providers, and partners—including Women’s Law Project and If/When/How—to mark a historic court ruling in “Allegheny Reproductive Health Center v. PA Dept. of Human Services” that struck down Pennsylvania’s 44-year Medicaid abortion ban!
This didn’t happen overnight. It’s the result of years of strategy, organizing, and legal advocacy going back to at least 2019—and I’m proud to have been part of the leadership that moved this fight forward and to have co-written and edited the groundbreaking amicus brief and support of this case - the first of its kind.
Now, we make it real.
We’re coming together to celebrate this Reproductive Justice win—and to demand full implementation, accountability, and access to reproductive healthcare for every Pennsylvanian regardless of income.
Be there on Monday!
