Incline Consulting Group - University of Pittsburgh

Incline Consulting Group - University of Pittsburgh Incline Consulting Group provides pro-bono strategic consulting services to nonprofits in the Greater Pittsburgh area

Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations, or SCNO, is a national organization founded in 2000. The University of Pittsburgh chapter opened in Fall 2012. SCNO is a completely student run consulting organization that offers pro-bono, strategic and technology consulting to non-profit companies. SCNO project teams conduct consulting engagements on a range of topics including, but not limited to

marketing, fund raising and capital allocation, information technology, organization strategy, and operational management. SCNO is unique for its ability to simultaneously develop non-profit clients and student associates. Student associates add value to non-profit clients by translating the knowledge they have gained in the classroom and through employment experience to real world problems that non-profit companies face everyday. These are problems which the particular non-profit client does not have the expertise, resources, or man power to solve internally. In tackling these tough issues faced by non-profit clients, student associates are forced to research, brainstorm, and develop the tools, applications, and skills necessary to deliver a successful solution. In doing so, student associates are forced to grow as much, if not even more than the non-profit companies they are working with.
