🔔 Reminder! North Hills High School seniors and their parents/guardians are invited to attend NHHS College and Career Planning for Seniors tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. in the high school library.

Hosted by the high school counseling department, the program will provide an overview of the college application process and important information to help seniors navigate their postsecondary plans. Counselors will walk families through what to expect in the months ahead and answer questions during a Q&A session. Please note that this event will cover similar information as the counseling department’s Kick-Off to College Admissions event held in July.

This year, two of our North Hills Foundation community partners are making the fun even better!

🥩 Texas Roadhouse is providing free steak dinners for a YEAR to the winner of our field goal kicking contest!
🧁 Nothing Bundt Cakes is providing Bundtlets for a YEAR to the winners of our new Bundtlet eating contest!

And come hungry! We'll have Bundtlets and Texas Roadhouse peanuts available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the North Hills Foundation.

Last week, Dr. Donald Sheffield dedicated his book, "Bringing America Greatness," to North Hills in recognition of the district’s commitment to belonging, respect and leadership. Dr. Sheffield, district leaders, current students and alumni gathered for a commemorative photo, and it will soon be displayed in Times Square! The display will celebrate Dr. Sheffield’s work and the North Hills community’s commitment to ensuring everyone feels seen, valued and empowered.

🔔💻 Reminder! North Hills High School laptop pickup is happening today and Monday in the cafeteria!

Each high school student will again receive a Dell Latitude 3140 2-in-1 Laptop to support their academic needs throughout the school year.

We're less than two weeks away from on Tuesday, August 25! 🥳

North Hills High School orientations for rising ninth graders and all new students will be held this Thursday, Aug. 13 at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Monday, Aug. 17 at 1 p.m. (Choose one to attend.)

We are also holding laptop pickup in the high school cafeteria on these days:
💻 Thursday: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.
💻 Monday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
(Laptops not picked up on these will be distributed on the first day of school.)

Please note: The window to purchase insurance for both laptops and iPads is not yet open! We will alert families when it's time to log into One2One to accept the insurance and pay. TIA!

🚘 North Hills High School students are permitted to drive to school and park in the student parking lot with a valid parking pass. An application and $50 fee must be submitted each school year.

Applications are now being accepted for student parking passes for the 2026-27 school year.
