MASTRIANO FAILS THE PEOPLE OF PA ON ELECTION INTEGRITY – Part 1
Nov 2020 to date.
Mastriano and his supporters claim that he is the only one “fighting for election integrity”.
This battle started long before November of 2020. Lawsuits were introduced regarding the 2020 election process throughout 2020 - way before the election.
He did not spear head any such suits.
GOP as a whole did. He associated himself with at least one and appeared in the media for it.

After the election, Mastriano was the MC at the November 23, 2020 “Gettysburg Hearings”. It brought a great deal of attention to the 2020 election irregularities and to him.
Shortly after that he said he would repeal Act 77 (which he voted in favor of as 2019 SB 421), a major cause and root source of those election irregularities.
Again, an army of organizers leapt into action – Audit the Vote, Stop the Steal, PA county and regional groups for free and fair elections, etc. People mobilized to petition for a full forensic audit - groups began independent audits of voter rolls, etc. Law suits ensued at an astonishing rate. The fight was on.
Again, Doug did not originate any of the groups or organizations.
Again, Doug did not spear head any of the law suits.

He attached himself to groups/organizations by association, attached himself to a lawsuit or two (as many did), and appeared at a few rallies. Again, he promoted what others were doing without really doing anything himself.
Lots of people have worked their butts off “fighting for election integrity”. They have worked tirelessly, quietly, and with great devotion - and they did it without grandstanding or even wanting the spotlight. These people are the true patriot warriors. It is highly insulting to them to say “Doug was the only one”.
At the General Assembly lots of bills have been introduced to try to fix the mess. Starting as early as January 11, 2021 (HB 18 by Puskaric), legislators began introducing bills regarding PA’s Election Codes. So far, 114 bills have been introduced.

For all his talking about election integrity and Act 77, Mastriano has introduced only four. None were a repeal of Act 77.
