Pittsburg State's Students For Violence Prevention SVP is a group of peer educators working to raise awareness and educate about domestic/dating violence, healthy vs. Interested in joining?

unhealthy relationships, sexual violence, sexual communication & consent, healthy sexuality, stalking, & bystander intervention. Students for Violence Prevention (SVP) is a group of Peer Educators interested in reaching our peers concerning the issues of dating violence, domestic violence, healthy and unhealthy relationships, sexual assault, sexual consent, stalking, and bystander intervention. SV

P aims to create an environment on our campus where violence is unacceptable, survivors feel supported, and perpetrators are held accountable. We create educational programming and presentations for Freshman Experience classes, student organizations, Greek Life, Athletics, Residence Halls, ROTC, and local secondary schools. Take Back the Night’s global mission as a charitable 501(c)(3) Foundation is to end all forms of sexual violence, including sexual assault, sexual abuse, trafficking, stalking, gender harassment, and relationship violence, and to support survivors in their healing journeys.
Pittsburg State University’s Students for Violence Prevention will be joining the national Take Back the Night event and supporting survivors here on campus by sharing a meal and stories of survivors from campus and the community.
