Today we celebrate the feast day of Blessed Frédéric Ozanam, who founded the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in 1833 as a 20-year-old college student.
Organizing his fellow college students, Frédéric believed that faith must be backed by direct, personal action to serve those in need. Nearly two centuries later, that mission continues every single day right here in our community.
