Tony Raboin, a graduate of PSU Nursing and Program Director for HealthSTAR ONE–KC and EagleMed recently spoke with the Pitt State Chapter of the Kansas Association of Nursing Students on Monday, September 14.
Tony shared his personal academic and professional journey and encouraged students to take advantage of every learning opportunity throughout their nursing education and careers. He also provided insight into his experiences in a variety of clinical settings, including emergency care for patients of all ages, trauma care, and flight nursing.
Our junior and senior nursing students were actively engaged throughout the presentation and asked thoughtful questions about Tony’s experiences and the diverse opportunities available in nursing. We are grateful to Tony for sharing his expertise and experiences with our students and inspiring them to explore the many possibilities a career in nursing can offer!

The IRBSON was proudly represented at the Kansas Hospital Association’s Annual Convention and Trade Show on September 11th and 12th in Overland Park, KS.

Today, the Pittsburg State University ROTC program held its annual Patriot Day Remembrance to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. Cadets solemnly read the names of those who died, while fellow cadets and volunteers completed push-ups in recognition of each individual.
Among those participating was Olivia Presley, a senior nursing student and ROTC cadet. The School of Nursing is incredibly proud of Olivia and all of our ROTC cadets whose commitment to service, leadership, and sacrifice continues to inspire us. 🇺🇸
