Special Collections and University Archives is open this summer from 8am -12pm and 1pm - 5pm Monday to Thursday and from 8am - 12pm on Fridays. Attention, Crossland College of Technology students! Snacks are available for you in the Tech Library (that’s second floor, room 221 on the South Side) for all of Dead Week and finals week.

If you have the time, why not check out our soda bar at Axe Library? Tonight, tomorrow night and Thursday at 9pm on the first floor, you can create your own italian soda, or pick up a coffee to go. We’ve already had two great nights with students showing off their barista skills. 🥤

We have all sorts of books at Axe Library. Sometimes we discover something in the regular stacks that is special enough for our Special Collections and Archives. 😲

Take this dictionary, for instance. It was published in London in 1875 and was rebound by the Porter Library at Pittstate. The original pages are in remarkably good condition. Once this is re-catalogued, it will be available again in the archives.
