Town Hall is closed today, Friday, June 19 for the Juneteenth holiday. We hope everyone has a safe weekend! 🖤❤️💚

🖤❤️💚 Town Hall Closure for Juneteenth 🖤❤️💚

In observance of Juneteenth, Town of Pittsboro offices and facilities will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Please plan for any in-person business at Town Hall accordingly. Online services will remain available. For non-emergency assistance from the Pittsboro Police Department, please call 919-542-2911 and request to speak with an officer.

The Pittsboro Board of Commissioners recently adopted a resolution recognizing Juneteenth and honoring Community Organizing for Racial Equity (CORE) and the Chatham County Agricultural & Industrial Fairgrounds.

Pop on over to Knight Farm Community Park as we kick off Park and Recreation Month with an afternoon of fun!
Join us from 12:30 PM–2:00 PM to cool off at the splash pad, enjoy a free popsicle, and have fun with bubbles, chalk, and music. It's the perfect way to celebrate the start of a month dedicated to the power of parks and recreation!
