‼️TRAFFIC ALERT‼️
Several railroad crossings in the town of Pittsboro will be closed for maintenance by CSX crews for the next 2-3 days.

The following roads and crossings will be affected and CLOSED.
N. Meridian St
N. Maple St
N. Co Rd. 475 E

The crossing near US HWY 136 and N Mitchell Ave IS the only OPEN crossing in town.

Please allow yourself extra time and PATIENCE navigating through town and with the congested traffic.

July 4th 2026 10:00 AM No Parking on Main Street until completion of parade
At 1:30 PM all east and west bound lanes including side streets of Main Street will be closed until the completion of the parade
Those that have residences on Main Street will need to plan trips accordingly because once roads are closed there will be no traffic permitted through
For those living on Osborne Ave you can access it via Wall St and Meridian St (south bound only)
