With the long weekend here, we want to remind everyone to enjoy the sunshine safely! ☀️ 👇🏼👇🏼

Hot temperatures can sneak up on you fast, especially during outdoor activities, yard work, ball games, and cookouts. Make sure you:

Drink plenty of water
Take breaks in the shade / Cool air
Never leave kids or pets in vehicles
Remember the signs of heat exhaustion!

This weekend is about honoring our heroes and making memories with loved ones let’s make sure everyone stays safe while doing it. 🤞🏼🚒

🚒 Wild Hog Festival 2026 🐗

Pitts Fire & Rescue had a great time at the Wild Hog Festival this year! We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, showed support and spent time with us throughout the festival.

Events like these remind us how blessed we are to serve such an amazing community. We truly appreciate every smiling face we seen. We already can’t wait to do it all again next year! 🐗

Pitts Fire Rescue and the City of Pitts would like to sincerely thank everyone who donated to the relief efforts for the Brantley County fire.

Today, we were able to deliver supplies and support those on the ground. We had the opportunity to see our very own Clark Rountree and spend a little time with him, and then continued on to drop off a load at Brantley Gas. While there, we also met some of the families who have been displaced by the fire.

Please continue to keep all of the first responders and the families affected in your prayers during this time. Your generosity and support truly made a difference. ❤️🔥
